Artist's statement

My images are created from a painters point of view. I am fascinated by the many accidental images to be found in the city, often formed without intent or purpose and which sometimes bear striking similarities to the abstract art I admire including Klee, Rothko, de Stael and Rauschenburg. Over time I have refined my observations and adopted my own style of imagery.
